From My Collection...

With all this crazy weather we've been having, shooting for my blog has been "limited." I thought I'd share a few of my favorite (vintage) things with you to give you an inside look at my personal style (which changes almost daily). Back to my regular shooting this weekend!

Vintage brooches and clip earrings. Bracelet and earrings set last seen here

The loveliest mirror compact given to me for my birthday.

A statement vintage cuff bought at an antique market. Love it here.

THE BEST high-waist pencil skirt restyled from a vintage floor-length gown.

My favorite 1950s party dress.

Vintage baubles

Sorry friends, I've been MIA for a minute (I still have to get used to being back at school). Until I can get caught up on the blog, I'll tide you over with a few of my favorite vintage baubles... New outfit posts soon!

"Cuff" earrings: trunk show find.

Earrings and bracelet: "borrowed" from mom. (Don't worry, she knows.)

Remix

After some major alterations, this floor-length dress was made into a high-waist skirt. Tailored just right for the perfect fit, in my favorite color. My very own style remix.

Original dress. A consignment store find.

After some MAJOR tailoring, my new high-waist skirt.

Bugle bead detailing.

Skirt (consignment store find), Top (American Apparel, also seen here), Shoes (Nine West), Watch (Michael Kors), Brooch (vintage)

Favorite silhouette

I love a full skirt paired with a fitted top, especially one with pockets. And a bold cherry lip is just the right finishing touch...

Dress (vintage), Shirt (American Eagle), Sunnies (Guess), Earrings (C. Wonder, similar here), Brooch, Ring, bracelets (vintage), on lips (MAC Ruby Woo and Russian Red)

Details...

I'm an admitted accessories junkie.  I'll wear one or two (or more) bracelets with every outfit, even if I'm just running errands. I pile on my brooches like nobody's business (see proof here).  I like to keep my accessories out in the open. I figure if I see them, I'll wear them. I needed an inexpensive way to display my bracelets and this hand towel rack that one of my besties was about to toss in her move came in handy.  I've had some of these pieces for nearly twenty years.  One of my most versatile necklaces, which doubles as a scarf, is also displayed (a gift from another good friend).  My two favorite pictures are here too, so I can see them everyday when I wake up.

Some of my favorite bracelets on display. (Stella and Dot, Forever 21, Target, vintage)

Beaded necklace (gifted from my bestie), personal pictures of my family and my Michael Kors watch.

My go-to accessories (MK watch, Stella and Dot bracelet, vintage ring). Oversize clutch (Gap, gifted from my 17-month old nephew).

My growing brooch and pin collection, vintage cuff, and hot pink feather clips (to add a pop of color to any outfit).

Brooch collection (vintage).
